Dan was first introduced to HEART in 2016 and experienced his first mission trip to Kenya in 2018. That journey left a profound impact on his life, igniting a deep passion to become more involved. Since then, Dan has returned year after year, now leading teams to Kenya to share in the experience and to support the women, children, and dedicated HEART staff.
Driven by his passion for serving others and his commitment to the medical field, Dan also leads the HEART Medical Committee, working closely with Dr. Mariana and her team to strengthen and expand the organization’s healthcare efforts.
Dan is continually inspired by the people he meets in Kenya and is committed to making a meaningful difference in their lives—just as they have profoundly impacted his.
He recently celebrated 25 years of marriage with his wife, Marisa. They live in Newcastle, California, and are proud parents of three adult children. Together, they enjoy traveling, hiking, outdoor adventures, and spending time on their ranch. They are active members of Bayside Church in Auburn.
