Ginny Forbes

Ginny has a strong faith in the Lord and a deep desire to be a Kingdom Builder. She has a long background of serving with non-profits. She spent years with the Make A Wish Foundation, working directly with the Wish children and their families. She is passionate about women's ministry and has led many women's Bible studies, been involved with women's prison ministry through God Behind Bars and spent years ministering to incarcerated youth in the California Juvenile justice system.

Ginny's first trip to Kenya was in 2014 with the Bayside Team. Since then, she has returned to Kenya many times over the years. In addition to assisting HEART teams coming from the U.S., Ginny and her husband also lead teams from Tennessee.

She resides in Tennessee with her husband, David, and belongs to a thriving church with a strong focus on global missions.

She loves that HEART brings hope to mothers who may have no hope, that it is a sustainable orphan prevention program and brings the love and hope of Jesus to people who may not yet know Him.
